Established in 2020 under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, the Mehali Education Trust stands as a duly registered Public Charitable Trust with the registration number E/2975/Valsad.
Inspired by the success of its Paper Mill at Dahej, the visionaries behind Mehali recognized the pressing need to contribute to society. It became apparent that the villages surrounding Dahej, Gujarat, and the individuals migrating for employment lacked access to quality English medium schools in the immediate vicinity. In response, the decision was made to initiate a school project. The project is currently in progress, funded by Corpus donations from Mehali Papers Private Limited and the Nathani Family, showcasing a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact on education in the community.Inspired by the success of its Paper Mill at Dahej, the visionaries behind Mehali recognized the pressing need to contribute to society. Ashraf Nathani, a school management committee member, identified the need for a quality English-medium school to serve Dahej, Gujarat, and its surrounding areas. A mechanical engineer with extensive leadership experience, he played a pivotal role in the project's success, from land acquisition to layout design. Ms. Shazia Nathani, a member of the school management committee, is a graduate of Istituto Marangoni, Paris, with a passion for design and innovation. Continuing the philanthropic legacy of her family, she is dedicated to giving back to society and making a meaningful impact through her compassion and sense of responsibility.
Mrs. Bharati Gosrani, a Home Science graduate from SNDT University, Mumbai, hails from a philanthropic family in Vapi. A former President of the Inner Wheel Club of Vapi, she is dedicated to fostering positive societal change and upholding her family's legacy of community impact.
Mrs. Kalpana Chaudhary, former Director Emeritus at N.H. Goel World School, Raipur, and a key figure in establishing Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Chala, has a distinguished legacy in education. Trained at IIM Ahmedabad and the London School of Education, she champions innovative and inclusive learning, committed to empowering children to realize their full potential.
Principal of Shri L.G Haria School, Vapi with 28+ years of experience and President of Sanskriti Sahodaya Complex- South Gujarat ( Association of CBSE Schools, South Gujarat) also Certified CBSE - COE Trainer who believes that, 'Children are not things to be moulded but are people to be unfolded.
